Privacy Policy — Court Helper for CourtReserve

Court Helper for CourtReserve ("the extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps members of clubs using the CourtReserve scheduling platform see when event registration opens and, optionally, complete their own registration at that time. This policy describes exactly what data the extension reads, stores, and transmits.

What the extension reads

On app.courtreserve.com pages that you open yourself, the extension reads page content needed for its features: event names, dates, times, availability status, waitlist positions, registration-opening countdowns, your organization (club) names and IDs, and the calendar's category filter names and colors.

This information is processed locally in your browser and stored only in Chrome's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your own computer. It is never transmitted to the developer or to any server operated by the developer — the developer runs no servers for this extension.

What the extension stores locally

• Your scheduled registrations (event, date, fire time, status)
• Your settings (registration-window rules, event filters, display preferences), including per-organization overrides
• The list of organizations learned from your CourtReserve account menu
• Your premium license state (license key, activation ID, last validation time), if you activate premium

All of this remains on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the extension.

The only data that leaves your browser

If — and only if — you choose to purchase and activate the optional premium tier, the extension communicates with our payment provider, Dodo Payments, over HTTPS:

• Activation: the license key you paste and a name/label you provide are sent to Dodo Payments to activate the license.
• Revalidation: approximately weekly, the license key alone is sent to Dodo Payments to confirm the license remains valid.
• Deactivation: if you deactivate, the license key and activation ID are sent to free your activation seat.

Dodo Payments processes this data under its own privacy policy (dodopayments.com/privacy-policy). No other data is transmitted anywhere. The extension contains no analytics, no tracking, no cookies, and no advertising.

What the extension never does

• Never collects, sells, rents, or shares your data for advertising or any other purpose
• Never accesses your CourtReserve password or payment details — it operates only within your existing logged-in session on pages you open
• Never reads browsing history or any website other than app.courtreserve.com
• Never sends messages or takes actions on behalf of other users

Your choices and deletion

You can remove any scheduled registration from the extension popup at any time. Uninstalling the extension deletes all locally stored data. To delete the license information held by Dodo Payments, deactivate your license in the extension's Premium section (this also frees the activation seat).

Changes to this policy

If data practices change, this page will be updated before the corresponding extension version is published, and the effective date above will be revised.
